Two years after the change of model, the Jaguar XF Sportbrake finally comes back to the market with a combina- tion with the cat's emblem at the rear. German market launch is planned for the end of October 2017. The prices are to start at 43,960 euros for the entry with the 163-hp diesel. Compared to the predecessor, this is a good 2,500 euros more, but there is also a little more space and a luggage volume of 565 to a maximum of 1,700 liters. The plus in the trunk space and also the leg-freeness for the rear passengers results from a wheelbase that has grown by 51 millimeters to 2.96 meters.
In addition to the 4-cylinder diesel with 163 hp, the engines also have the same engine in the higher power levels with 180 and 240 hp. For even more power, a 300 hp 6-cylinder diesel is the choice. If the sedan still has the 200-hp entry-level 4-cylinder, this option is no longer required. Here the same unit will only be available in the higher power stage with 250 hp. For the transmission of power, a manual six-speed gearbox or an automatic eight-speed gearbox are available. In addition to the rear-wheel drive, four-wheel-drive technology is also available.
